Everyone just wants to live with their friends and family and do no work whatsoever. Plenty of opportunities. Yeah but see there's these things called friends and family. Usually more often than not, people have at least one and people who don't are usually really good at fending for themselves in the first place. Instead of scheming to figure out how to work as little as possible while earning tons of money, maybe work on something you actually enjoy doing so you don't hate your life but unless you're a trust fund kid, you had better work. And so what if trust fund kids exist? They're far and few between and their parents most likely worked very hard to be able to provide that luxury for their kids. Sorry your parents didn't think to do that but it's nobody's fault but theirs. I and the rest of the world shouldn't have to provide for you just because you exist.

You're right, the system needs to change, but I guess how it needs to change is the point of contention.

I wouldn't say the premise that we need to be constantly trying to create better opportunity in this country is a point of contention, but exactly how that is done, is.
