Actually bungie probably figures players would be getting more primary kills, which is why you only get 1 point. Secondaries will be used less frequently but, get you more points. Finally, heavy with the most points as you use it the least. Basically they're going by the ammo received for each weapon slot. Now obviously this isn't how it works for most players. It goes special, primary, then heavy.

 • http://destinytracker.com/destiny/population According to Bungie's own published numbers, the highest number of kills is attributed to the shotgun. I'm not suggesting that it needs to be nerfed, or anything needs to be buffed (besides scout rifles, for gods sake just look at that, it's pathetic). How ever the facts contradict your suggestion that Bungie thinks that primaries inflict the highest number of kills in curcible when aside form hand cannons (last word...) the shotgun clearly is the most effective weapon to use right now. Bungie knows what the most effective weapons are in crucible........ Frankly can't imagine how pulse rifles are so low but thems the numbers.

 • So you're trying to imply that tracker is just making up it's physics...... That because Bungie won't tell them the real stats they just make it up as they go along maybe?

 • I never said it's making it up. You just incorrectly stated that Bungie is involved with Destiny Tracker. They aren't. Those statistics don't even cover all players. Just the ones that have signed up for the site.

 • That's the thing. It doesn't. I only recently signed up for it but you can locate details about absolutely anyone who plays the game rather they're signed up for it or not. Which means DT is using figures either from bungie or from PSN and XBL.
