If you're a solo player & rather not run matchmade strikes (for whatever reason), this week's nightfall is an easy way to complete some of the strike portion of the book & to complete some strike bounties. Just load in & head to Court of Oryx (or wherever, really)... plenty of lower level adds to get super medals or whatever you need.
Edit- As DMGRGN pointed out, "or we could solo the Nightfall." Obviously, that is an option & I should have mentioned it. Some players want the challenge of completing bounties against the highest difficulty possible. Me, I'm a mediocre player, so I try to take the path of least resistance. Not going to lie-when Omnigul was the NF, I quickly found out it was easier to do the rainbow, grenade multikill, & super bounties against the Dregs in the patrol spawn vs the level 42 NF Dregs.
Whatever works for you - as Bob Ross said, "it's your world, you can do whatever you want!"

"happy little clouds" and "there are no accidents, just beautiful mistakes"....my pvp life hahha

My friend who lives in Scotland can never find people he can solo poe, strikes and nf .But he needs me or anthor friend to be host to find him a crucible game lol! But I take advantage of that because we just always 2 man strikes for fun or the gaddman rainbow, Then no one interferes
he also has private social areas and patrols!
-
I agree but I'm not always solo
-
The people who cry for matchmaking or to make solo life easier are confirmed idiots. They're the people who sit on Twitch begging for a carry. They're the people who finish Strikes with like 20 kills. They're the people who go 4 and 14 every Crucible match then cry here about how op a weapon is. They're the reason this game became watered down and dull.
-
Or perhaps the Solo players should stop being such anti social twits and make some friends. Or learn how to use lfg and get some raids done
-
My concern is how some people still haven't done things in the book

A raid MM system can be done successfully it has been done many, many times in many games now. the thing is its not about who you do or do not want to play with, personally back when VoG and TDB where the raids to beat i took many people through first timers with no mics and all with no problems, as long as people listen they do not need to talk Destiny raids are not difficult, i haven't done WotM so i won't include that in this comment, Crota however was artificially difficult with needless bullshit to advance which a lot of people got annoyed and bored with, quickly. the Division, being on console too is the perfect example it has a Incursion (raid) Match making system which works just fine, do you get people that a a little childish and idiots? sometimes but you do on LFG too, personally i have a squad for the division so i would never use the MM system unless there offline, its not incursion night and i just want to JUMP in quickly and do one, and it serves that exact purpose perfectly. i think most people that raid, have raided or done progression in any game besides destiny (and console in general) understand the pro's and con's of such a system but the good thing about said system? it is OPTIONAL, you can still use LFG to find your squads and a LFG site will always work for such games as such people exist that they want ''specific'' raid squadrons. long and short, a MM system should exist, optional, not forced if it was forced then that is total bullshit. the last thing is the MM system is the most requested feature on the forums and is top of the ''to do' list on bungies suggestion post however they have openly said they don't plan to release it until destiny 2, pretty much confirming everything is going to have some sort of optional MM system. and you can still vote to kick any ''afks'' so that is really a cop-out problem, as far as MM systems go the divisions is not perfect it never will be but it works just fine with there GS system. an option should be in the game, this is not a hardcore game even raiding is not hardcore they are pretty short and pretty sweet any hardcore players have there squads of certain people who are like-minded.

Thanks.

Malok is a nice strike to earn rainbows and rampages. Just the beginning of the strike though where you open the door with those three dark orbs. I guess just wipe before placing the last orb.

Solo players don't want matchmaking now either??
-
For solo players who need help with the book. DONT DO IT. You don't get anything great and they only added it To give super scrubs something to do. You are smarter than that!!!!

Or... run matchmade strikes. Who is so -blam!-ing retarded as to not do that?
I’ll have two number 9s, a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two number 45s, one with cheese, and a large soda.
Edited by DMGRGN: 1/18/2017 6:26:57 PM...or we could solo the Nightfall. That's what i did when i was working on that part of the book. Some of them can be harder than others but this week's is fairly easy.
