Show me where other religions can opt out of a public school class based on a religious reason and I'll agree. However, I don't see Christian/Catholic/Jews opting out of some periods of science because evolution is being taught that day.

The irrelevance stems from your OP, not my irrelevant comment in relation to the thread. Since you need it explained to you I'll write it clearly. My post has to do with respecting religious beliefs and governments passing rules/regulations that infringe upon them. That's first amendment stuff so should be the end of the discussion anyway. I mentioned RFRA because there are many people that are proponents of it and I'm targeting those individuals for discussion. The question is, how can you justify being for religious freedom but then want to force a religious group to do something that violates their beliefs? It doesn't matter what I think or believe. I'm asking [i]them[/i] how [i]they[/i] can justify it.
