One about """Wretched Eye Strike"""

I just can't describe how poorly the boss fight is designed in this strike. Dregs spawning, Shanks dropping from the top (you don't even notice them till they surround you), an invincible ogre that won't let you stay at one place(forcing you into the open to face the void cannon of Kovik) and finally the boss Kovik himself - that void cannon seems to be boosted with steroids as it can kill you very quickly. Add to this an arena with minimal cover and its a recipe for "xxxx has departed." For once I can't blame anyone for leaving this strike as it's ridiculous to spend your time on this activity. This week its nothing short of nightmare - void burn, his already steroid infused cannon gets extra steroid shot and chaff makes you blind despite actually having a view of the screen. What were your devs doing Bungie? How did such a flawed design get passed and implemented ? Did anyone play this strike with various modifiers? So many complaints on this strike Bungie, come on at least you can give a reply. Take this back to the drawing board and sort the mess. It's NOT FUN to be in this strike. For most of my friends and me, to simply put - if(strike='The Wretched Eye') { system.exit(); } else { continue; } Hope something gets done. There are other ways to make a boss fight challenging than this.

  • Not a bad strike. Learn how to divide your team and things are easier. 1 in ogre. 1 on ads. 1 on constant boss stun. Shift when he ports. Repeat.

    • It's difficult because the arena is so small and there's no height cover. But when the ogre is chasing you, I found that circling a pillar (obvs not one the boss is using) instead of trying to go all the way around the arena gets him off your back a lot faster.
