I've played alot of Destiny, and I've found that time of day has a big effect on anything crucible. For the most part if you are playing late at night or during the school day there is a much smaller player base and you are more likely to encounter serious players. In the afternoon and evening the amount of players shoots up with alot of causal players.
man how did you get first place with that time?!?
I think SRL is mostly SBMM.
-
Most likely
-
Its probably just content left over from when they were designing the map. The devs were probably too lazy to just take it out.
-
Could be for advertising screen shots.... To like show off the sparrows to someone/test them out.
-
man how did you get first place with that time?!?
If you can beat the "rubber banding" effect and get a good enough headstart, no one will ever catch up to you. You need to be several seconds ahead of everyone else so that physics don't keep you all attatched at the hip, so to speak.
-
I don't have any idea what that has to do with anything? It's just upsetting to see 4;30 be first place, my record so far on that track is 4:14
-
I don't have any idea what that has to do with anything? It's just upsetting to see 4;30 be first place, my record so far on that track is 4:14
It almost seems like you came to the forums to brag about your slow record time.
-
Edited by Nnoremac: 12/15/2016 1:51:10 AMFalse, I didn't even mention it in my original post. It was only after his confused post then o mention my reasoning on questioning his time. Also I have no idea if my time is good or not, tbh I felt it fairly average. Edit: Idk why you call it slow though, cause I can see your record times and they are just as bad as the op
-
Hahahahahaha so what you're saying is YOU won his race? Or would have? Or you're the great speed racer? Keep on keepin on champ!
-
Why would I say I won his race? He clearly won as the video shows. I said I was merely confused on how he won cause 4:30 seems extremely slow to me.
-
What's confusing about that? Obviously if he won with that time, it means everyone else finished with slower times. Kinda like all races.
-
It's confusing cause 4:30 isn't a winning time in my experiences. Was that hard to understand? I thought that was clear in my original post when I said "how did you get first with that time?"
-
Nah. I'm just yanking you around now. It was obvious from the start that you only commented to tell him how much faster you completed the track. Doesn't matter that you fill in all the extra space with nonsense to try and cover that fact. Like I said, Keep on keepin on. You the real MVP
-
I mean I never mentioned my time in the race in the original post, so that is false. But I will say thanks, I actually am a MVP in racing
-
Edited by SamSu916: 12/15/2016 1:57:58 AMI actually added that "slow" part to see how you'd react to be honest, it's pretty mild of a reaction. Seeing as you didn't get defensive about it, I guess I can rule out that you didn't come here to brag, you just came here to talk trash lol.
-
Well I have no reason to react large, like I said I have no idea if it is good or bad record time. Heck I made it on the first day of racing. Also people usually don't get that upset when someone worse insults them
-
Edited by SamSu916: 12/15/2016 2:02:17 AMLike I said... Ruled out that you are not here to brag, you just came here to talk trash. Though you wanna know the difference between someone who takes 4:30+ minutes to finish the race? Absolutely nothing. So why talk trash about it? The way I see it, you got a slightly higher skill in a racing game mode at $0 dollars pay, where's the trash talk coming from anyways?
-
Talk trash? Me stating I am confused on how he won with that time is not trash talk. Maybe you should google trash talk.. And it makes a huge difference, the matches I played 6th place has 4:30, not 1st. Which is why I was confused.
-
Edited by SamSu916: 12/15/2016 2:06:05 AMEver heard of passive aggressive trash talk? That's what you're doing. Example - "OMG how did you fail the test? It was SO EASY". Vs regular trash talk Example 2 - "You failed the test? Damn you're stupid".
-
Like I said, me being confused on his time and his place is in no way trash talking, I completely didn't even mention my time in the original post, only when someone was confused on what I meant was when I mentioned my time, to give an example. You seem rather confused and offended for some reason
-

-
The basics of racing wasn't the confusing part, you seem to just not understand. It's the premise that 4:30 isn't a first place time to begin with in my experiences
-
I just read the whole conversation and idk why those idiots were acting like you were a dick. They were way to sensitive and probably just kept arguing with you after they realized what you said had no malicious intent. The guy probably just won the race because of SBMM. He's a bad racer and everyone with him is a bad racer too. Maybe that's not the at all though.
-
It had to be heavy on sbmm. I mean congrats on the win but it seems crazy to me still
