I highly doubt that friend. You and everybody in this comment section including myself will buy Destiny 2 just to see what has been improved. 👍

I've been with destiny for a long time. I have played many hours of both PVE and the crucible. I have enjoyed my time, but there were many issues, and these issues are well documented by both the press and the community. I stuck with destiny because I understood that Bungie was launching a new IP, under a new publisher...despite some initial disappointment in the original version of the game, I was patient. As it was revealed through leaks and controversy related to Destiny's creation, I knew every step of the way what I was getting into when I purchased DLC. Ive spent hours in raids wiping due both player error and network related glitches. In the crucible I have sat back with my jaw open, as I witnessed other players not taking damage, performing one hit Melees, killing me through walls, and generally doing things that are not accessible to me(at least from my perspective, for all I know at the player on the other end is saying the same things about me because I'm hosting or have some lag created advantage). I have also been through every meta shift change, and while this is not widely discussed by the community, I feel that many balance issues boil down to networking... It was great, it was a fun experiment... but I refuse to deal with it again. Destiny isn't the new kid on the block anymore, he's the big cheese and to get me on his side, he's going to have to put his money where his mouth is.

  • Nah, I didn't buy RoI. I let all you fools buy it first and review it and then I ultimately decided not to get it LOL. After getting burnt so many times with this game, I've learned that buying in early isn't the best move.

  • And by all means, enjoy away! I need reliable reviews to make an informed decision on whether this product is worth my money! I meant no offense! The game's changes since TTK have not sat well with me though, so IMO, hasn't been worth spending money on.

  • I think you should uninstall this app then.

  • I'll pass. Destiny is a game I WANT to like and I WANT to enjoy, but thanks to mismanagement and a lot of idiotic decisions, I just no longer am able to. If they fix those, they can get me back to playing. I'm not holding my breath, but I still have some hope they'll pull their heads out of their asses. We'll see when D2 launches though, won't we?

  • And like i said we all going to get it. Whether you get the original D2 or its dlcs, you still going to buy and play this game you're hoping for. Me on the other hand, I know Destiny's pros and cons. Rather than complain and hope I play other games. Destiny has bad story telling but I enjoy the competitive play, the weapons, and raids. Thats about it.

  • I didn't get RoI, so its going to be a hard sell for them to get me to buy D2. I need more than what most people are expecting. I need full separation of PVE from PVP and a return to how things were in Y1, with improvements of the actual problems that made Y1 so unfriendly and unplayable for casuals. I'm just like you. I know Destiny's Pro's and Con's. But they won't fix their game if we don't give them good feedback to consider, which is what I try to do. Rather than tell them "Your game sucks, please nerf!" I try to tell them what I want the game to look like in order for them to earn my dollars. Whether they choose to listen or not is really their prerogative. But at least I'm trying. The raids and the nightfall in Y1 was what made this game so addicting in Y1. Reset day, and the chase for better loot. We don't have that anymore. The nightfall is irrelevant, the raids are largely window-dressing and no longer provide the games elite loot - so why run it? Infusion fuel is a deeply dissatisfying reward for taking on the games hardest PVE challenges...
