Whenever a crucible problem arises and someone posts their opinion on forurms and it's bound to have that one person saying: "Your K/D is lower than mine, your thought is irrelevant." or something of that caliber.
Do you really think just because they do poorly in the game mean they don't have a say in what's good or bad in the crucible?

Yes kd matters. There is not a single game mode in this entire game where you can consistently go negative and not be a detriment to your team. This whole stigma that kd doesn't matter is a load of crap. I'm not even that good of a player. I'm mostly a trials player and I average about a 1.5 in trials from week to week. But you're not gonna see me trying to act like I'm better than a player with a 2.0 average kd. Because statistically, I'm not. Numbers don't lie. Yes elo can be farmed and so can kd to an extent but the simple fact is that in order to farm those things you still have to WIN and GET KILLS.
