Not sure if this quite fits into lore, but I love the idea and wish to share it with you guys!
What if, somehow, we were able to possess Oryx's Taken power, and use it on ourselves? How would our Light react? What would change? It'll definitely be twisted, I'll say that. It might not even be possible. But if it were, what would our Light be like?
Warlocks:
Void Stormcaller: You become a Void wraith that drains the Light and even life of everything around you. You can pass through certain walls, teleport short distances, and can be immune to certain types of damage.
Solar Voidwalker: Instead of hurling an orb with the power of a dying star, you throw an actual star at enemies, with greater damage and blast radius. All grenades are the same, but Solar instead of Void.
Arc Sunsinger: Much like a bladedancer, you become imbued with Arc power, with rapid health regen, increased speed, and "temporal displacement". Meaning that you can pass through enemies, and those you do dissolve into Arc energy.
Titans:
Arc Hammer of Sol: Same as the current class, but with Arc instead of Solar. Live up to the Pre-Golden Age god Thor's name, and smite your enemies with an Arc hammer that returns to you with each throw.
Void Striker: Throw yourself at enemies like a comet, and leave a black hole at the site, tethering and damaging enemies.
Solar Defender: Same as current class. However, while shorter in duration than a Void bubble, it can be cast more often. Has arguably the fasted super charge of all subclasses.
Hunters:
Solar Bladedancer: Same as current class. However, instead of invisibility, you can revive after death and cut enemies down with a Solar Sword.
Arc Nightstalker: Lock down enemies and territory with Storm Arrows. Each Arrow splits and forms a ring of Arc power around the target. Nothing gets in, and nothing gets out.
Void Golden Gun: Form constructs out of Void Light that dishes out damage to enemies. Can chose between a hand canon, shotgun, or machine gun.
Like I said, this might not fit into lore. However, the thought of Blight and Light being combined into a twisted power interests me, and this is simply how I envision it. Feel free to critique, but please be respectful and polite as you do so.

3 RepliesIf we had taken Oryx's power...that's a difficult one to answer. Maybe, as you described, our light would become transformed and twisted, giving us new powers in our existence as a paradox Maybe one force would prove stronger than the other, meaning that we would either remain with the light or align with darkness, like Dredgen Yor and other corrupted guardians It is even possible that the two forces would contradict each other so strongly that our physical form would be destroyed, given that without the light to power it we are nothing but a corpse. In conclusion, I have absolutely no -blam!-ing idea what would happen.
God, I've been playing too much Destiny
