Right so I just want to point out that technically, there is weapon diversity, it's just that some guns are better than others so people naturally gravitate to those weapons

If you've been in the Crucible in the past month there's little of it. And that's what I meant. Destiny's PvP has little weapon diversity because of the meta. It's the same old Clever Dragon and Matador 64. And that's what most people are using. The Clever Dragon is a good primary, yes but it's widely overused. Sure it works, but it's not the only thing that works. I use a First Curse and that works fine for me and I know there are many other weapons out there that have a fighting chance in PvP but people rarely take the time out to experiment with them.

Well your also forgetting that people get into the mindset that there is only two meta, matador and dragon, and they forget that there is different and sometimes better weapons. They are just to lazy to get them. You get what I am trying to say

I'm not forgetting that at all. And that's why I say why not do something to widen the pool of meta weapons? If someone is getting killed by a few weapons but they're consistent. Perhaps they'll be curious to try it out think "oh hey this seems good too since it's used". It's worth while to me to at least try and do something none the less. I know people are lazy and don't want to try things but this current meta is just sad. I barely see that many auto rifles too o.o

That's because I find most suck in my opinion

I think it also comes down to play style and preference. I personally love my First Curse others may say its a bad gun. And I'll use Jade/ Doctrine on my Warlock. But that's the other thing too I was mentioning. If there aren't enough decent guns to catch people's attention then give out some slight buffs and adjustments to boost usability.
