It's not that weapons are unusable, it's that's people are unwilling to learn how to use guns besides the meta. I myself use a sidearm.

  • Yeah I know. Just like how people don't want to learn their classes or sub classes and scream about why something isn't fair. -.- I don't follow the meta. I've found my own path but how do you think this issue can be handled?

  • It won't be handled. It's human nature to go for the easiest weapon to use. Changing the meta won't solve it either. It's an endless cycle. Only some people will ever go against the meta.

  • Yes but what if you were to make more weapons viable? So not just one but several or a small handful of weapons would be in the meta pool rather than 2? I understand people don't want to take the time to learn and go for what's available and what's easy but don't you think if there are more weapons are there and deemed "top tier" that this would at least help a little? I felt that just before RoI first Iron Banner we were actually getting there. I never saw one particular weapon overused and then the Dragon came as well as Matador. I'm just wanting to help improve the situation. It's barely fun anymore.

  • Even if more are viable, one will almost always have an advantage. The Palindrome is viable, but it's still harder to use than the clever dragon. Maybe if Bungie would let us test these things, we could see.

  • True. I very much liked Taxemic's suggestion on TTK adjustments. I think this could help. At least if we could try and see if it works.
