Can't get better when you spend more time in the death screen waiting that 10 seconds to respawn then actually playing.
Just saying.
Can't get better when you spend more time in the death screen waiting that 10 seconds to respawn then actually playing. Just saying.
Sure you can. That's 10 seconds to think about why/how you died. You can either wait that 10 seconds telling yourself "next time I see him I'm going to charge him 50' in a straight line with my shotgun out" (again), or realize you should value your life more and play smarter.

You just gave me a headache! I recall a match I got into one time. Cathedral. For some asinine reason, I kept running down into a sniper lane and poking my silly ass around the corner. That cute red light just kept mesmerizing me. Six times in a row! I never claimed to be the sharpest tack in the box. ;) Honestly, that is a rare thing for me to do and I DID eventually figure it out. I got him back a few times. :)

Lol... we've all been there a few times! I remember challenging a dude on the outside sniper lane on Pantheon. I couldn't tell you a damn thing about the rest of the match except me and this dude. Every death resulted in me rushing right back to the same spot, and the same with him. He'd drop me a few times in a row (1KYS) and I'd drop him the same or more (NLB). Pretty even match. I lol'd so hard at the end and sent him a GG and he sent the same back saying he was practically in tears laughing. Then there's just those matches where you have to tell yourself "this dude has me beat" and not challenge. If only I could take my own advice...lol

I LOVE those matches where it's a 6v6 and you end up basically going 1v1 with an enemy! The one I was talking about had me laughing pretty good also. :) Those where you run into the "this dude has me beat" scenario? THOSE are the ones I like to save a vid of, for reviewing purposes. As long as it's an honest fight (no teleporting and such...), I figure I'm going to learn something from watching it a few times. :) No matter what, if I find myself getting frustrated or not enjoying the experience... I just back out and catch up on some tv. ;)

Yeah man exactly... saving a vid of that stuff is a great idea. You see yourself doing stupid stuff and although it's painful to watch, you can lean so much!

I also cant get better if I dont have FUN

As long as you are learning from how you died then it will extend past 10 seconds to 11 then 12 then 13 and before you know it you can hold your own against any opponent.

So when does this rule not apply anymore lower skilled players get told they have to be stomped to get better & that they should want that but why dont the so called higher skilled players want that? What stat is used & at what point does this rule become void.

Not when you get spawn killed.
