I hate the delay on the force barrier, a lot of times this causes me to die, especially ft while fighting those shanks in WOTM. It could also use a small range buff. I know I know, there's a reason why it's called T-Rex arms but still it could use a buff. Who agrees?

I think the defender melee overall is a bit lackluster. I think if a charged defender melee would suppress on hit it would be more effective. Or at least an exotic that does that

Defenders just need love, we aren't relevant enough in crucible for buffs

Titan melees actually have very good range on them, the thing is you need to be sprinting forward for the lunge to trigger which gives you the range that other subclasses don't (hunters and warlocks don't have the lunge mechanic) But they should fix force barrier and make it immediate like hungering blade, flame shield or life steal

They should also nerf the reach of fist of havoc, I keep getting killed when I'm more than 10 m away from them. I'm not talking a slight nerf, I mean a reduction of the radius from what it's at now to at least 3m at minimum.

There's a glitch on sunbreaker melee too. Sometimes it doesn't apply initial damage. Only the burn. Hopefully the next patch will fix both of these.

Don't even complain about the delay that's almost unnoticeable compared to the awful delay of flameshield.

Edited by jnikoley: 12/6/2016 10:04:05 PMAll melees/abilites that give a health regen/shield were patched to cause them to activate after a delay. This is intentional, not a bug/glitch. It was stated to be targeted at sunsingers flame shield, but affects all classes with a similar perk.

For those little ones in the comments complaining on melees, here's the deal. Titan melees are designed to be shorter ranged but harder-hitting. Warlocks have weaker but longer ranged melees. Hunters have specialized melees designed for their specific class. All melees in game are balanced just fine.

The delay is no glitch. It's there so that you can't survive double-melee trade-kills in Crucible. The problem is that Bungie won't keep there PvE and PvP changes separate.

I main defender, i think I should not be buffed because it could be abused with the No Back Up Plans. Because if you decrease the time delay, than rushing with a shotgun at someone would most likely kill the enemy and won't trade kills with them. titan melee range is fine. it LOOKS short because of the way you punch, but it's the second longest melee (Can't remember name of video but i'm sure you'd find it by looking up melee ranges)

I noticed the transfusion perk on striker titan has a delay sometimes too
