[i][b]Prologue[/b][/i] 9:15 P.M. 11/7/2024 That was the day logic died...and the entire human race was not far behind it. How did this happen? That's the question everybody seems to be asking. Maybe we screwed up, maybe we should have paid more attention to those who brought this...man...into power. We should have learned our lesson from Trump, but we didn't. And now...as I write this, the news is reporting that Neil DeGrasse Tyson has left the country. They are showing a video of his car being vandalized by the Propheteers. That's what they call themselves, an homage to the "holy prophet" they elected into office. They are attacking all the big figures who mocked them...and the police aren't doing a thing. As I watch the flames, I feel like I can see humanity's reason burning with them. I am apolitical. I separated myself from politics when Trump was brought into office. I have no affiliation to the democrats or the near defunct GOP. I am not a libertarian either. I'd like to think this gives me some sense of neutrality and clarity. I could easily see what was happening. When Trump was elected, he succeeded because he was tapping into the anger felt by those who were being mocked by the media, by the so-called "tolerant" left. They did not care for rationality, they were too pissed and the media didn't care. This man, the "Prophet", did the same thing. Only instead of tapping into their anger, he tapped into their sorrow and into their lack of education. Trump's classism quelled them, the left's elitism derided them. They were denied an education because education came with a requirement of conformity and submission. "Give up your religion, your beliefs. They have no place in college, in these classrooms." Then because they were uneducated, they were the lowest of the low. Then he...came out of nowhere, like a figure out of a book, preaching to those who would listen one simple, archaic, message: The Earth....it is Flat. Round Earth? It is a lie set up by your oppressors. And because they were uneducated and downtrodden, they listened. But how did this man come into power? Where did he come from? Well...I know exactly where he came from and where it started. I can only hope I can tell this story before they discover me, before they flatten me. It all started...with a click. (to be continued)
