What's wrong with guardians these days

It seems like half the people in these threads only have the energy to try and bash others. I can't count the times I read someone asking a genuine question and the response is straight toxic. Straight to "your kd sucks stop playing this game" type of things. It's sad that so many people use all their energy trying to be as big an @$$ as they can possibly be. This community is going downhill. Or maybe it always was.

  • Personally, I've started to noticed a massive Wave of salty kids coming in the forums to complain since the start of Y3.
Now i'm just saying, but it could POSSIBLY be explained by the fact that COD kids of this year were not satisfied,so they move on to rage on this game, bringing all their salt with Them.
• Seeing crap like that bothers me too. It's also great when you come across positive threads, such as a player's first flawless. There's lots of awesome users you'll see that will congratulate them and wish them the best. Any gaming community has its positive and negative community members. Often the negative ones tend to feed off of each other and voice their opinions loudest. Generally I think they're best left to themselves haha. I've made a ton of great friends playing Destiny as well as on Bungie.net and I continue looking for more positive people. No matter what, ignore the negativity and try to see the greatness in a fun gaming community.

    • In all honesty, i'm of the same opinion. Actually had this load of bull happen to me while doing strikes for my Circle of War (just got that, so, not too upset over it, but still). Had some brat cuss me out and flat out tell me to go and die because i made a mistake in the Malok strike. Brat's been blocked, but it's still toxic and just downright wrong... especially when the person delivering the insults has no idea if the person is desling with depression or other issues. ...just isn't worth it to be mean to anyone. Especially not now, not with the way the world is.

The people who leave negative comments and constantly try to bring others down and bash them for no apparent reason, other than a question was asked or a comment made, ARE NOT a minority group feeding off of one another. They are in fact a good portion of the community and for better or worse, mostly worse, we are stuck with them. It's almost as if they have nothing better to do than make others feel bad for trying to get information. I for one would like some kind of reprisal system but that can't and won't happen. There are great people out there it's just getting harder and harder to find them. Keep playing your game, asking your questions, and looking for the information you want and need. Once we start respecting one another the whole Destiny Universe will be a much better place, until then those of us that know the game and the right way to play it will just have to stick together.

    • thats the bad and good thing about content release.... the good and positive players come out day one to play and master stuff, then move on, the majority of those left over tend to struggle causing all that toxic-ness. I can bet you if/when SRL kicks in things will be real good for about a week or so until next September ;)
