Good things about this game
Hey guys i don't know about you guys but i'm a year one player. Back in year one this community was so positive. And i'm tired of seeing all the negativity in this community in the new years of destiny. Everyone who reads this, feel free to post the things you ENJOY about this game and what makes this game fun. My personal favorite is the level of customization you can do on your own character and the way you can stack abilities with weapons. Whats yours?

Bungie thank you guys for such a great game that has a constant grind and is always challenging my playing abilities and introducing new ideas!

63 RepliesThis game is trash... the weapon balancing is trash, the non dedicated servers for a exclusively online game is trash, sbmm is trash, the nerfherd is trash, Bungie is trash for not realizing they've let Destiny become this bad. On a positive note this game gives a garbage can purpose.

It's also a nice relaxing game to play while listening to a podcast, so I'll give it that, and I have more good memories regarding Destiny than I do bad so I won't say that Destiny is a bad game, Although it is a bit of a letdown to be honest.

Year 1 was best because we were powerful Guardians. Now all the nerfs and weak weapons turned us into scrubs.

I'm been playing before beta because I'm a registered tester but my favorite thing about Destiny is Warlocks. I just feel so fantastic and pretty flying through the air with glide as the sun shines across my robes and I land on things like a bird. Sitting on street lamps and pretending to be a bird to take a dump on passing sparrows. It's majestic. And burning things. Things must be purified with fire. Enemies are so dirty.

Year 1 since the alpha. I have 3 400 guardians of each class and I am still playing weekly. Only thing I am hunting at the moment is perfected ornaments from the raid. I know it's only cosmetic but I need it! Lol This is by far my favorite FPS I have ever played. I can't wait for Destiny 2. I want to see what they can do without last gen holding it back.

Alpha, Beta and year 1 player here as well and I agree, no other game has it's hooks in me like this one- can't explain why but I guess it's the variety of stuff to do depending on my mood

The game itself is amazing. I have never played a game and stuck with it since day one like destiny. I have easily had my moneys worth and then some.

2 RepliesDestiny is a really great game. I have never had more time invested for my money in any other game. The gun-play is unmatched and the environments and attention to detail is phenomenal. The music scores are top notch, the social aspect is great. I have met tonnes of new people, mostly from Australia and America (I am in Scotland) that I now play with regularly. Don't get me wrong, Destiny DEFINITELY has its faults and Bungie could do better with their decision making, but every game has its flaws and Destiny is a constant work in progress. I love it and will continue to do so.

Alot of things are good about destiny. There is a reason why air put so many hours into the game and am still here. The Music The Art Direction Level Design Enemy Design Gun Design Classes Customisation the Raids The Strikes The Loot It's just a fun game

The gun play is some of the best I've seen in a shooter to date. Abilities feel strong but not op. Enemy design and weapon designs look amazing as well as character customization. The grimore is some of the best sci fi lore I've ever read. The loot system albeit kinda frustrating still gives you a sense of satisfaction when you get a good weapon. Pve feels fun and Pvp has a nice skill curve that doesn't make you feel cheated or something was blatantly unfair. Overall a see this as another great bungie game and I'm looking forward to destiny 2.

Aside from the numerous bad things i can go on endlessly about there are good things in this game. -Flawless polishing there have literally been no frame drops ever since i played this game. -Mara Sov -HOW DLC before the Taken Fall -Everything before Taken King

In my opinion the game- & gunplay is the best out there. No shooter feels as good as Destiny.

I'm down to 2 or 3 PVP games every day or so, anymore than that is just frustrating honestly, the matchmaking is horrible (or at least the amount of people playing makes it that way) and PVE content is basically none existant for me. Doing other things more is great though, if Destiny 2 never came out you wouldn't hear a peep out of me!

My only problem is that there isn't enough content. It's an amazing game PvP is great and PvE is awesome but there isn't enough story. They should have kept some story missions and released them one by one or two by two every week. That would have been cool and would have made the game a bit longer.

Haven't really had much fun since year 1. Most of the time I put into this game came from y1. Just look at the old videos of people getting exotics from year 1, so much excitement, even Howard Stern talked about how crazy people would be when they got a gally. Now it's just whatever. Bungie could have created some thing great but well I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain......

Thank you Bungie, you guys have made it possible for a big fan of you guys since the first Halo game, to be able to be part of the destiny community and be able to play and as off yesterday make it to 400 light, hailing from Uganda in Africa where internet speed is as low as 2mbps and on a very good day 6mbps. its been a fun struggle all the sweat n tears have been poured in the crucible coz those internet speeds cant handle Raid or Trials so thank you for availing a route to 400 that does not require those two. Been a fan since the launch and will continue to be to infinity and beyond. Big ups Bungie. you guys rock.
