The Rise of Iron progression book has been a really convenient way for me to save vault space. If I want to look like an Iron Lord, I can easily reclaim gear and infuse it to my current Light Level. The fact that it includes a shader, emblem, and ship makes me wish we had collection books as well. Imagine a Shaders book, Emblem book, and Ship book; available on all characters at all times without traveling to Tower to access a Kiosk. *** Faction Vendor as Faction Gear Kiosks *** In addition to that, why not have something similar to books that can be viewed at Faction Vendors that allows you to reacquire gear from Vendors in exchange for the equivalent Legendary Engrams. It would be great if NPCs could be expanded instead of more Kiosks. In addition to normal Factions, it would be nice to see Petra and Variks also get the same treatment for their Faction as well. *** Other NPCs as Raid Gear Kiosks *** The Speaker or Cryptarch could have Vault of Glass Raid Gear, Eris could have Crota's End Raid Gear, Varis could have a Prison of Elder Gear, and Cayde could have King's Fall Raid Gear. Talking to these NPCs will let you re-buy the Gear only after you've gotten it to drop once first and it would cost Legendary Engrams so it couldn't be abused for Legendary Marks. *** New Key System *** I've also been loving the new SIVA Key fragments that allow you to re-roll Raid Gear (and can be combined into a Key for bonus drops) and think it would be great to see this retroactively added to the older raids (especially if Vault of Glass or Crota's End are ever brought forward). Ascendant Shards could craft into Ascendant Keys, Radiant Shards into Radiant Keys, and Moldering Shards into Moldering Keys. Weapon Cores and Armor Core could even be combined into Treasure Keys and allow an additional chance at Gear from Prison of Elders. The bonus drop chests would need to be added to the Raids, but otherwise this is mostly an item change. New copies of Raid Gear could have the re-roll node added. Either way, great to see some of these Quality of Life changes in Rise of Iron and I hope they can be expanded further.
