Gambling is profitable. And unfortunately most microtransaction revenue comes from very few people spending a lot.
So the average player not purchasing helps, but doesn't really matter when you have the top 10% of spenders paying over 90% of total sales.
Not to mention people like you and no offense but when people keep spending so much and not learning till the third time this is what happens

Though we are getting outnumbered at an alarming rate.
