BUMP the hell outta this. I thought last gen (they named them "legacy consoles") were holding the devs back.
Primarily from vault space. Shit, i know there are some, idk the right word, desticles(?) That are opposed to increasing vault space because..... well, I'm not sure why.
If you can name a negative thing about having more storage space then I'm all ears. Before i hear it, no, i don't think this is a 300 man hour job that will side track all the devs from important things. It's not.
This is one of those things where you're either helped by it or completely unaffected. No reason NOT to do it

Edited by Loki 2208: 10/27/2016 4:25:21 PMVault space has nothing to do with console capability it has to do with how much shit they want to store in their servers for thier unappreciative fan base. Nothing in destiny is stored on the console. Edit: as for your one negative thing about more vault space how about our regularly unstable servers become even more unstable because you and every other guardian wants to store 6000 weapons of which they may use 30 over the course of the next 12 months.

Yes, i am well aware the console has next to nothing to do with the size of the vault. I'm repeating what was thrown around for months by people and perhaps even Bungie. Saying that "the memory limitations of the 'legacy consoles'" was the issue. So I wonder if anyone more tech savvy than I could explain the cost of an increase in server storage space would be? Say, to double the vault. This game is insanely successful. I just don't know why they won't fix a couple things. It is clearly not a money issue.
