Bungie...Please increase vault space..
OK...ok...I get it...im a collector, and love having different armor sets and cool stuff. Some call it hoarding...and maybe so. However, its getting the point where playing is starting to feel like cleaning my house. My characters are encumbered...I am pretty sure the postmaster is giving my stuff to the sweeper bot to console him until he gets his damn broom back... Please...increase the vault space!!! Infinite slots would be great...but anything you do would be better than the current situation...

1 ReplyI feel that this is a design decision. They want us to have these conflicting dilemma moments were you need to make a choice which often means losing something you liked. They don't want us to become loot vacuum cleaners. I get that. Personally I would be happy with the same vault size, if I could delete directly from vault or at the very least switch a vault item with an inventory item. I hate that I get stuck in these situations where my inventory is full and my vault is full and then I need to potentially delete something I don't want just to make room.

Until they do I have been deleting most of my Y2 gear. Most sucked anyway with horrible perks. That keeps my vault with some room to wiggle around in, not much but some.

That's why I'm glad they at least made that mask kiosk. Because that at least freed up a bit of space anyways.

i don't understand how people respond with "quit hoarding" or "throw your junk away, etc". why is it such a bad thing if i want to collect everything? i have [6] Saterienne Rapiers in my vault; all with different rolls, sights, etc. i collect things in games like this. i did the exact same thing in all of the Borderlands games. if a game is going to give us loot and a vault/box/garage to store it in then the available space will always be an issue b/c some people's collecting, i mean "hoarding" to you naysayers, would be greater than others. i generally keep about 5-10 spots for each category open and try to keep at least 2-3 for each slot per character for engrams and such. i enjoy going thru my vault and "cleaning things up". maybe i was just storing items for legendary marks or forgot about something i no longer use; some people who do not collect like this/that cannot relate and it doesn't mean either side is right or wrong. with an update like ROI and all the legendary items coming back PLUS all the new gear, you would think there would've been at least a page added...that's just me tho.

Heres the thing all the non hoarders are missing, they're not working on a damn thing. Fotl? Ya mean last years event with a broom and sparrow? Bet it took a long time for that. Srl coming up? Again, last years event and if we're lucky 2 more tracks that will probably be eververse transactions. This "live team" doesnt create anything. Probably 2 guys at most making minimum wage. Remember the release of rise of iron? Took them hours to fix something that shouldn't of needed fixing. Point to all of this is adding more vault space isnt gonna take away from anything so stop with that argument, its as tired as "its my money, stop telling me how to spend it."

Literally just spent an hour or so "cleaning house". It's funny cause they use terms like "collector's edition" and getting all the armor, gun sets are a HUGE part of this game (maybe the main part) and yet you can't keep it all? 🤔

Given they are doing updates, sorting out events and maybe working on new things for the spring. Vault space is not a main priority, also from what I've seen most players have barely filled there vaults. So it's a numbers thing i guess. I struggle for space but they have stated they are trying to work on it. Look at with the Halloween event now, they added the new kiosks for the legendary masks. So that's a bunch of space we can save just be deleting them. I would love more space (even sortable) but I do try and see it from a design perspective aswell. Other things have higher priorities is all.

7 RepliesThe only thing i have kept from year 1 is my timurs lash. That is it. I fully get you but at this point i would rather they focus on better things, events, D2. I am not a collector so my vault is probably 80% free.

Those year one or two dupes that I kept because the friggin [i]icon[/i] was different? Toodles! Well, mostly... haha The untouchables for me will always be raid gear and those super rare class items/armor

I just wish there was a better way to sort the vault. I have some weapons that are duplicates and it would be nice to group them together to compare against each other.
