No one cares about Armsday anymore :(
Anybody that participated regularly in Armsday during Year 2 probably got most weapons and rolls they wanted. But for the same exact stuff to be sold going into Year 3 is making Armsday completely boring and dead for a lot of people.
It can't be that hard to get the Gunsmith some new guns. You could literally copy and paste some of the new weapons, tweak the color schemes/names and bam, Armsday is interesting again.
Another idea: since Year 2 Iron Banner guns have become extinct, you could also give Banshee those guns to sell with random rolls each week. Surely it couldn't be too hard to implement.
It used to be exciting to see the new rolls on Wednesday... now.... zzzzzzz 😴

If the packages were the same LL as other vendor guns, and they included sidearms/machineguns in the lineup that would help.

They might be fun on patrol but nowhere else, unless you got really really lucky on a roll. I've since dismantled every one of them, except a tracking/tripod/high velocity launcher I happened to get. I haven't even bothered to get a rank package this year, now that I know they're the same old guns is making me care even less.

It's really sad tbh, I was really looking forward to new foundry weapons and new designs to previous foundry weapons. But sadly nada, it's this lack of content, and cheating in crucible that's pushing me more an more away from a game I found very entertaining. Looks like battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 I go when I get paid. -

However, I am still satisfied with the guns being sold as I don't have many good/god rolls on them, so I am still collecting. The biggest let down for me was the constant crucible test weapons that appear each week. The auto rifle, well, it's god awful to use. And yes I understand that you can use these against each other in private matches, but I don't have anyone on my friends list that is interested in the gun smith like I am.

3 RepliesThey are going to add new weapons to the Gunsmith after the Festival is over. All the silver purchases are going towards quality improvements throughout various parts of Destiny. Nah, I'm just kidding. Silver money is obviously being used to buy blow, Ferrari's, extravagant vacation houses, and the occasional hooker for the especially ugly and socially awkward employee type. Saw it on 20/20.

[b]weapon assention [/b] You found a Blue/green weapon that you liked it's perks go to the gun smith give him the weapon +50 L.marks and wait for a week for your legandary version to arrive. [b]new types of foundry weapons[/b] Suros: Hand Cannon, Sniper and shotgun Omolone: AR, pulse and LMG Hakke: Rockets and LMG But a package and wait a week [b]Scoops change [/b] Have you ever got a perfect roll weapon to drop for you but the scoops were horrible well now you can re-roll them for 25 L.marks [spoiler]sorry for my bad English it's my 2nd language[/spoiler] Just my 2cents

No new guns made it stale. I have good rolls of all those guns now. And why no Machine Guns?

Gave up on gunsmith around rank 20. He just got old. I wish we could customize more stuff and use him to upgrade white or blue weapons. Break down old guns and fit different scopes on the guns?!

1 ReplyI care and I do look forward to it. It means a new cycle of guns to test. Which means ranking up the gunsmith. Which means either a new gun or infusion material above my light at least every two weeks. I do it on three characters so three guns every two weeks. And since I've found that you can do crucible gun tests in private matches, I don't have to skip those guns each week.
