I would be all for a Rumble gametype for Trials over Elimination. I think that it should be Skirmish, but I'd definitely take Rumble over Elimination. It's not that I don't like Elimination, it's just so unforgiving, and I don't play up to my potential because I'm afraid of making mistakes.
