Yep so much effort designing 2 sets of armour for each class,2 sets of weapons with a different paint jobs & adept perks.
All of that for the snallest portion of players.
Only 1% of players have even played trials.
It needs optional matchmaking to bring in fresh blood & more good pvp players that dont have teams.
How can you claim to be the best when nobody is playing.

Players that are actually good have made it there by using LFG. Trials is endgame PvP and just like with endgame PVE there shouldn't be matchmaking as it would dilute the challenge

I dont understand how can people playing a game mode make it easier. Destiny I think is about the only online game with no matchmaking.

More players to challenge would dilute it. Ok Quick question 2 guys want to play trails they both have mics they both have a 1.4kd but 1 is on lfg the other is found through matchmaking. Why is the lfg guy automatically a better choice? Why should we have to spend an hour on a 3rd party website thats about as user friendly as a japanese vcr manual trawling through post after post of 1600 elo only to find a game get an invite & the guys turn out to be total tools so its back to lfg. Not everybidy has time to do that most people have to do life they dont have friebds from school with destiny. How can you say trials is a real challenge when by bungies own numbers 99% of players never stepped foot in trials during the taken king. There is no competion in trials because there is hardly anybody playing. I know it makes you terribly salty thinking about those few matchmade teams that would stomp the shit out of you but I thought pvp guys wanted more competition. Only if its lfg competition though right.

It would make the early rounds even easier than they already are and some of those matchmaker groups might just get lucky and get even worse match made groups and make high win card games easy. Trials is challenging the way it is and it should stay this way. It is very easy to tell who is in a party and who isn't when playing elimination during the week even without looking. Bungie has already explained why they don't want matchmaking for endgame in a rather great way. If you don't like what people are adding for on LFG, you and everyone else that complains about it are welcome to make your own post. Just because Bungie hasnt done what other games have done and added matchmaking to their endgame doesnt somehow mean it was a mistake. The only other game somewhat comparable is the division and their incursions are nowhere near the level of a raid. Other MMOS have some matchmaking for raids but they are dumbed down versions designed to be done with little to no communication

THIS. Bungie seems to believe everyone should play Trials, but only a very small portion should have success with it.

Well no bungie doesnt want solo players to have any end game at all despite the fact that we make up 90% of their player base. But a solo is never going to be first to finish a raid or stream for charity are they. This game revolves around about 40 players that stream or have big clans. Bungie said its not their job to find you people to play with only to give you enemies to kill.

I know its not gard to use lfg but its hard to find a trials game not asking for scarab/kitty 1600 elo only. Nobody is saying lfg is hard but not everybody has an hour to spare messaging people from lfg to be either ignored as not good enough or just too late or you get invite & the guys turn out to be idiots so its back to lfg. Not everybody is still at school with loads of friends with xboxes most of us have to do life everyday. Matchmaking(optional ofcourse) would allow the other 99% to play the game. Have you noticed the thing about destiny is its split between those that have 1 friend playing & just need to find 1 more those that have loads of friends & the majority(about 89%) play solo and those solo players that either dont have anybody left playing or might not feel comfortable sending out invites to random people are told that they dont deserve to play the game because they wont use lfg. This is 2016 & Destiny was sold as a "Social Onlibe Shooter" Where are the "Social" parts its got no matchmaking for anything end game not even pvp there is no voice in social areas to make it easier to meet people & decide if you like them enough to invest the next few hours grouping up. I cant interact with anybody out in world excepr by using weird dance emotes or waving because that always help meet people. FFS voice is even turned off by default All end game needs optional matchmaking. 1 more question. Say there are 2 guys both wanting to play trials they bith know mic woll benefit them but 1 is on lfg the other is a matchmade partner. Why is the lfg guy automatucally better & more deserving to play. Deserving I cant belueve people actually say you dont deserve it if you wont lfg.
