Destiny: Our Story

I have been reading about a lot of things in the Grimoire through Ishtar Collective, and I have been amazed by the incredible and complex lore of Destiny. I knew it was complicated before, but by reading I have learned so much more. The website that I have been using has a time line of the events leading to Oryx's arrival, starting with the events in the book of sorrows, which predated the traveler's arrival. What I found awesome and interesting is everything about the Reef Wars and its connection to the Nine. If you didn't know, Skolas played a vital part in everything that went down. I think that everything to do with the Reef, Mara Sov, and Prince Uldren all will have vital parts in Destiny 2. On a more surious note, in one of the page's Mara is talking to the Crows and she tells them to go to "our new friend in the tower." This is the main reason why I don't want a complete fresh start in the sequel. I would be fine with loosing all my guns and armour, but I want to keep my guardians story. The amazing story of my ghost and his search for me and the story of being revived outside the Cosmodrome with nothing but some scrounged up armour. The story of finding the Kvostov in that century old wall and fighting to that old ship. The story of meeting the stranger and finding the Queen in the Reef. The story of slaying gods, Atheon, Crota, Skolas, and Oryx. I have done a lot with my guardian over the years, and I don't want to loose it all. I want to continue my story. A story of becoming legend. "Your missions: protect the City. Look better than Warlocks. But don't look like you're trying." - Pahanin Errata

  • Really, for Destiny 2, I wouldn't mind restarting over with a whole new character or restarting my armory. Something is missing from the game, a little drama or Tragedy. Was kinda hoping that Lord Saladin would of died at the end of ROI story, would of added gravity to the story, would have given Lady Efrideet a good reason to take over the Iron Banner and everything. No what about Destiny, how would you add drama and gravity to the story there, kill off a loved character, one of the vendors or something, or kill your Guardian in some kinda heroic sacrifice for the city.
