People need to give some thought to what is being said, considering twitters nature. Not to excuse the poor wording, but there's two sides to communication. Also the one complaining in the twitter conversation unsurprisingly completely misunderstands his situation. Yeah he paid money, but that doesn't mean he deserves a damn thing. He paid for what is a challenge, if he can complete that challenge then yeah he deserves it. If not then he deserves absolutely nothing forever. He needs to get over himself just like anyone else who honestly thinks and misunderstands what their money is buying. Lol.

8 RepliesLove the straight shooter approach. Maybe they need to assess the current state of trials though. Maybe they don't. But something about the way carries and cheaters shenanigans happen doesn't sit right with me and things like this is possibly what stops people going flawless, not snipers

11 RepliesThere's nothing wrong with a mode being intended for the best players. That's the way it should be. Trials is that mode. However, Trials is also the mode where the huge majority of cheaters/laggers/red bars concentrate and Bungie does little or nothing to prevent it. Fact. [u]Anyone not willing to acknowledge this is immediately disqualified from the discussion[/u]. End of file. So....if "improving your play", "matchmaking issues", "get gud", "skilled enough to get the Lighthouse" or _______________ (whatever the f uck commonly seen terminology you want to insert here) = sticking around Trials for a length of time necessary under the conditions mentioned above ^ in order to be matched against teams that don't cheat/lag/red bar so you have a shot at the Lighthouse.....then have at it. Probability of encountering cheat/lag/red bar on the way to a 9-0 card is very high, and if that kind of headache is worth it to you, again........have at it. Trials is exactly like steroid era baseball. Not everyone juiced, but it was rampant and created an environment where it was difficult to measure what was real and what wasn't.

People go out of their way to play like dbags, and all anyone ever talks about is skill. Guys. This. Game. Is. Broken. Trials? A joke. PvP? An even bigger joke. If you enjoy it that's understandable. It's FUN. Maybe it is even a challenge.. but it definitely needs huge tweaking. I love how the devs try to push skill and all that when their game is more lopsided than a 3 legged dog with a broken jaw. Shit has been broken for 3 years, let's not act surprised. Edit - and the PvP lead better act like he knows wtf he's doing. It's called acting like you're doing a good job! I pretend to work all the time when my boss walks in the room. If anything, the PvP lead should be ashamed. He's leading garbage, 3 years in a row presumably.

1 ReplyOnly the "good players" , people who have been flawless and those who praise bungie for every inconvenience they cause for a lot of people such as not banning cheaters seem to agree with his post . I get it though, everyone's biased to their own perception of how they see things , some things never change .

Agree, if you want to go to the LH, you ve to work for it. It is a reward for the best players. If there is something that needs to be fixed it's the connection issues, the lag and the cheaters.

Yes, it's meant for the hardcore players. I played on Friday for the first time since week 2 or 3 of it and got we butt handed to our team. We went 2-24, but those 2 felt damn good.

I don't give a shizzle about going to the lighthouse. But it bums me out that there is gear in the game that I will never be able to get (because I dislike the Crucible and only rarely play it to get some piece of gear or the occassional quests) even though I've helped fund it. But, this is the way of Bungie, always trying to manipulate the playerbase and play at being puppetmasters. They put all the good rewards behind a PVP grind because they know that PVP has more longevity than PVE. I mean, just look at the ways to reach 400 light. You basically have to play PVP. With that said, I'm off to play some proper keyboard and mouse PVP on my PC. Flip you on the catchside.

Said this yesterday.. lighthouse is not for everyone, it's a reward for a challenge. I've never been but I'm fine with it.. they made sure it wasn't anything ground breaking.. you can get that pulse from bounties just without a meh perk and a paint job.. Now should they address the cheating? Absolutely.. should it be made easier for "average" players? Nah.. However.. I do feel people should be able to check the space out at least once.. maybe like an open house, no rewards or anything..

I completely agree with him. I've only been to the lighthouse once and like the fact that they made this end game activity for PVP players.

27 RepliesHoly shit. So many crying men. Get over yourselves. I suck @ PVP but still have fun with Trials on rare occasions. When there arent lag issues, its a lot of fun. I love the challenge of going up against players that I know are way better than I am. I'll never get to the Lighthouse and I dont give a single flying -blam!-. If you cant get to the light house and thats a problem, you should try sucking less.

In any PvP game there should be a cut among the rest and a way for people to prove that, trials is that proof. They do need to do more for trials to make it more competitive in my opinion though. A prestige system would also be nice. I think they need to make primaries more viable than secondaries again and that would solve a lot of the problems with PvP at the moment.

I understand the complaints, people purchased a product they can't really access fully but it's due to their own lack of skill, not because Bungie didn't deliver what they promised. The question is, is it a good thing to release a dlc that not everyone can enjoy?

I like to think I'm an average player and I went to the lighthouse twice lastnight both times running plan c. Probably Coz the hardcore players jumped over to bf1!!! Just remember you won't get better unless you keep trying. I hardly play pvp but I keep trying
