The teams in Trials are more coordinated but the individual players are nothing compared the people I get matched up with in the rumble playlist on certain days. People from iAm, Invigorate, 300 Spartans, and players like Wtfisposhy, and Brose1 more. Some days I do fave the average Joe and I win by alot lol. Edit: My point is why is ToO easier than regular cruicble. Don't believe me watch your favorite streamers as they run through ToO with minimum effort.

Only issue I have with trials is, not knowing I was paying for something (HoW expansion) that I would never have paid for if the info was available. I don't generally spend money on things I don't care for or in this case tons of people's money who cannot take part in it because they're not "good enough" even though those same "average" players money went towards this development (only season pass holders from yr 1 are included in that statement). Wether you like it or not fact is a ton of people who will never benefit from it helped pay for that game mode. Seems dirty. 7 RepliesOf course we, as average players, aren't supposed to get to the lighthouse. It's supposed to be the ultimate test of pvp. We still get a chance at the gear by grinding out the quests.

I'm confident I'm better than "average" (approx. 2500 games), and in my experience, slightly better connections rule if the skill is anywhere within the same range. Let alone I see streamers get damage on clear misses often.... but that's another story. Not here to call anyone out. And matchmaking?? I've faced #2 and #8 in the world at the time, on the same team, when I'm doing bounties with randoms on match 3?? Yeah ok lol Tell you what, give me two of my top 5 teammates and a wired connection and I promise the match would defy the ELO ratings.

5 Repliesno. simply since the end game is not meant for elites, its meant for everyone.. sadly bungie seems to be more of a bunch of snowflakes that seem not to think in a broad picture.. the lack of matchmaking for trials and the game mode without any ranked playlists combined with the last 10-15% of players that play that game mostly for likes and a living (streamers) makes ist borderline impossible to reach the target for players that do not sink a massive amount of time into finding and maintaining a fixed team in opposite of a random lfg-page team... if you are extremely lucky you can make it into the lighthouse.. but on average its about 10 losses and one win for a normal random crucible team.. i watched streams of highly skilled players getting roasted by mlg pros.. bungie just tries to enter any kind of competitive match system that simply doesnt exist in Destiny since the random problems like lag and connection are impacting the game more than they are allowed to.. they should finally go the way of ALL competitive MPs and make PvP and PvE separate with separate loadouts and dedicated servers and ranked playlists.. all problems solved at once..

In y1 the messenger was good, year 2 docterine was good, year 3 the pile and sniper are good. That's it. Everything else was completely outclassed by vendor weapons and gunsmith packages. The only real reason to go flawless is for the vanity items that show your good enough to go flawless. Hell even now the pulse rifle is arguably not as good as a good pdx or hawksaw. Only a very small percentage of the playerbase is going to go flawless. Only a small percentage will ever beat a raid on hard. It doesn't mean you should make the raid easier. The major issue preventing most players going flawless is skill based matchmaking in regular pvp. Bad players only play against other bad players. They don't have to get better, they don't ever have to learn how to deal with sweaty players. Now good players, the top 10% ONLY play sweats now. They only play against the best players so they constantly improve, learn by getting their asses kicked. Then they go into trials with that sweaty mindset.

I'm an average player and I've been to the lighthouse a handful of times (with equally average players, I haven't been carried there. Mostly play with randoms) Just patience, hardwork and dedication (also some luck doesn't hurt) will get u there eventually. It only takes one player to get frustrated and start pointing the finger at others for it all to fall apart. Instead realise mistakes and develop a working stratagy for the map. I enjoy losing because it's experience and learning (& passage coins lol)

1 ReplyHonestly with how you can get the trials gear from bounties there's absolutely no reason whatsoever everyone should be able to go to the lighthouse. If anything hardmode raiders should get something equivalent. I will say matchmaking needs a little help though.
