Change the price of Xur ornaments!
Ok is it just me that is totally miffed about how the price of Xur's Ornaments was ever reached by Bungie.
*First off if you shard an ornament you get 5 silver dust.
*You get one...that's 1 ornament per week.
*Unless Math has failed that's 5 weeks to buy one Ornament from Xur unless you spend cold hard cash with what's her name at the kiosk.
How did no-one think "Hmmm let's make Xur sell an ornament for 6 silver dust so that our players can effectively use Xur to exchange their weekly ornament for one he has if they wish."
25 just feels like a really stupid money grab.
Edit: Before anyone actually fails the Math. You get an ornament plus 1 silver dust in each package so that's 24 after 4 weeks and 30 after 5 weeks....yea so minimum 5 weeks of package collection for a single ornament from xur.

LOL Why anyone is surprised at bungos money grab/cash cow tactics, at this point, is just funny. Its hilarious to see people still "thinking" that bungo is going to treat their customers with respect and gratitude. This is why i cant leave these forums...the show is too good! I will never make a microtransaction purchase in [b]any [/b]game when RNG is involved. If there's something I want, let me buy that particular item for a reasonable price. Guaranteed that this will lead to more sales.

Lol , don't worry , they know . It's done on purpose . I mean , think about it . Last year , with sparrox racing , Bungie said something along the lines of "we realised how stupid it was to apply rng to things you pay for , so from now on , whenever you buy a sparrow package , you're GUARANTEED to get a sparrow you never looted before" And then , one year later , when they release radiant treasures , first of all they make sure you get as little as possible (one per week per account against 3 with sterling treasures) , AND they're randomized . They OBVIOUSLY made it that way (might be a decision from activision) so people would feel forced to go through microtransactions so they can make more money .

You're looking at it completely wrong. The whole point of the free ornament is to make you want more. Then you can go out and spend $$$ to get the one you really want.

If you bought the game at release. Right after you bought the season pass which included TDB and How and after that you bought TTK. Finally, you purchased ROI. How much money did you spend? How much is that a month? Bungie doesn't want a monthly service but they do want the money up front plus the micro transactions. They won't change the price of the ornaments. They are more greedy than your phone provider.

11 RepliesIts cosmetic i dont understand why more players cry over cosmetic gear then the drop rates of weapons and armor that actually matter. Why is it that skeleton keys still drop one every 30 strikes but no one bats an eye at that but "omg i only get one shiny skin a week for a huge majority of weapons and armor i dont hardly use omg so triggered". Grow up its cosmetic crap and if it makes you so upset then go get a job make money and buy all the treasures you want.

8 RepliesI counted 2 radiant treasures per week, 1 in the heroic strike, 1 in the weekly crucible match. Unless that one was a glitch and was removed without me noticing. So by my calculations that's 12 dust minimum per week if you don't like the ornaments you got, 10 from dismantling plus 1 in each package. Since the ornaments are cosmetic and serve no purpose whatsoever in the game, I was really rather surprised that Xur was selling them at all. It's not like they're exotic weapons or armor. Then again, he sells sparrow drives that do nothing, so I could have seen it coming.

13 RepliesIt's 25 cent for one ornament. 25 freak cent 😂😂😂😂 if that's not a good price I am not sure where people's greed is going. It's cosmetic. 25 cent for an ornament is fine don't be cheap. If you want the cosmetic stuff pay the little amount it cost. For 5 bucks you get 20 ornaments. Really fine imo.

imo 10 dust and maybe an exotic shard / strange coins would be the best thing. 6 sounds a bit to low.
