I find full auto such a waste of a perk? Someone enlighten me.... It doesn't shoot any faster then the trigger finger? Would much rather tripple tap instead or something like that.

Full auto does increase overall rate of fire in this game. You'll notice it more-so on shotguns. Try a matador or Conspiracy theory with full auto and decent range perks and you'll see a huge difference between one without.

oh ok thats good to know i will do some testing then

I do agree full auto can be a waste of a perk. The only reason I like it is because when you get to my age it actually helps with the reflexes ,instead of having to spam the button. Yes reflexes and eyes are diminishing I'll take any help I can get : )

My finger gets sore on the higher rate of fire guns so I like full auto on it!
-
I also know the perils of age and reflexes my friend, and I second your statement. I too need all the help I can get.

I agree with you blast master. Although, guerilla fighter and exhumed are probably more useless, at least in my opinion. However, there are better perks than full auto on anything.

Full auto only affects rate of fire on shotguns cause it eliminates the pump animation. On other guns, it just allows one to focus on aiming and correcting recoil. It's a small improvement for some players. Also matters on the gun type. Medium rate of fire scouts and pulse rifles and anything after can have different degrees of benefits. Fast firing scouts get the most since shots are continuos while pulses do not get as much benefit due to their timing. Slow fire rate guns have such a slow perfect shot style that they are best without it. Full auto last word allows rapid hits. But would you want a full auto first curse? Buts it's all based on personal preference. I love my full auto lyudmilla d even before they sped up its fire rate. But I would not want a full auto jade rabbit style scout since you want to time your shots perfectly.

I apologize, I truly did not mean to sound like an elitist and after I reread my post I feel like my tone came off as such. You are correct though, it is purely a matter of preference and as far as perks go, you could do far worse than full auto.
