Shield Brothers with Solar Burn. Really Bungie?
Maybe take it out of the rotation for Nightfalls... It's literally impossible unless the planets align.

This is an annoying nightfall. I do not feel bad using the cheese spot at all, but it only really buys you a little time. Have to control the adds. I got a 390 ghost for it so I am happy.

Did it while carrying someone. It's. It that bad. I enjoyed it because it required team work and strategy. Rewards weren't worth it but that's another issue.

I'll bet every person in this that said they did it 3 times stood in the corner where the brothers couldn't hurt them. Sorry that's a cheese not "easy". this Strike with solar burn and nightfall difficulty is ridiculously hard. Period.

It's really not that hard, you just have to make sure you're using your heavy on the ads and not the bosses themselves

Did it as 3 Hunters in (I think) under 10-15 minutes... It's not hard AT ALL!

Did 5 times even carried a 370 though it so easy if you know what to do even did as 3 warlocks.

9 RepliesReally ? Is one of the cheesiest strikes going. Pretty simple up to the boss. Stand on left two bays up from door, slam brother stands looking confused, mortar brother shoots his mortars and hits the roof. Whittle down boss kill adds, kill slam brother, kill adds, kill mortar brother in 3 seconds and profit. Its a cheesy strike. Recommend good solar machine gun and tether and you will decimate adds.

Just stand in the glitch spot, it's pretty easy doing it that way.

Hey I know the Nightfall is hard but you have to realize we are used to having it be easy a lot of times and when it drops end game reward you should be expecting it to be a little bit of a challenge and not a piece of cake. It could also have to do with your light and if you are too low then that could be a problem. ;)

3 RepliesWhen you walk in the room to fight the brothers, turn to the left. There's a mound in the corner, walk up on that, and place yourself against the wall. All 3 people do this. Red brother can't attack you. Blue brother can't hit you with rockets. Each guy watches a different section of the area. Manage ads.

The only difficult part is making sure you kill the adds asap before they get out of hand, just rocket the psions as soon as they enter the room when they are all clumped up. Ez.

I've got it down to about half without putting much damage into the thrusters, but then I die to splash damage. From stupid distances. FYI, I'm doing it solo as a 378-379 Sunbreaker. Dual incendiaries and Sunspots.

Edited by jhowle9475: 10/20/2016 8:53:07 PMIf you stand on the light pillars on opposite sides of the door way into the final area, neither of the brothers can see you nor attack you. This allows you to DPS the brothers hassle free. Then when its time for the adds, just rocket them as the come out from the three locations. Here is the strategy to follow: 2 on top of the light pillars, and one in the cheese spot along the wall. This gives three DPS vantage points for bosses and line of site on the three door ways that adds enter from. So simply when first brother appears DPS till he leaves and kill adds as they appear. Repeat on second brother. For third round concentrate on the slam brother to kill him while killing adds then everyone hop down and group up around the cannon brother and DPS him while killing adds as they appear... Easy peezy
