Some other kind of alien race that resemble dragons or giant worms, nobody knows really. Some speculate that the Ahmkara are the same worms that feed on the hive, and it's also been speculated that the Ahmkara are one of the members of the Nine.

Wasn't there another speculation about when the traveler came through and planets flourished that they came to be on Venus due to the traveler (in some for of after or side affect)?
