We just got an alert from our main IT department in Georgia. Outages seem to be getting reported in various states across the more southern half of the country.
Big spikes in incidents reported at their downdetector page this morning as well:
http://downdetector.com/status/level3
Level3 is a MAJOR top tier ISP that provides peering and transit across the US and abroad to connect clients and hosts using different ISP's (like TWC<>Level3<>ATT). With some content providers they may carry as much as 40 or even 50% of traffic to that service.
Level3's ASN (AS3356) lists as carrying about 18% of Bungie's core traffic:

If you just started having problems with internet services today, may want to run a trace to see if level3 hops are in play, and contact your ISP's tier3 team about potential routing issues with level3.
