  • Yea he's probably never paid taxes. I work at a fairly large CPA firm. Telling clients to do what Trump did is extremely common in my field. Avoidance in this form is as basic as it gets when it comes to being a good CPA offering good advice. Best part is that Trump wrote a book about this 20 years ago called the art of the comeback. Guinness book of world records considers it the greatest comeback in history. May have to fact check of all this, but I'm pretty sure it's true. http://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/images/user3303/imageroot/2016/10/01/20161002_hillarytax_0.jpg Check this picture out. Apparently this is on Killary's return and has allowed her to offset income for two decades. Obviously, it's okay for Killary to not pay taxes.

I've got one more semester after this one and then 16 more credits to get 150 credits so I can take the CPA exam. Still deciding if I want to go public or private, but I know I want to get my CPA. I'm actually in a tax class right now so it's really interesting with all the Trump stuff. I think tax is interesting so far. And yeah people don't realize there's a difference between tax avoidance and tax evasion. I want to read that book sometime, good read I bet. Hillolry can get away with anything. I'm sure she hasn't paid much in federal income tax either. So many double standards, I hate the liberal media.

  • I am not at a big 4 firm but I am tempted to join one. I probably won't, though. My firm has about 150 employees, which is obviously large for a standard CPA firm. Our biggest client does about $2 billion in revenue. I would suggest starting out at a CPA firm. You learn so much about literally everything. I would also suggest paying attention in your tax classes and learning as much as you can. It is the most essential knowledge to have if you work at a CPA firm. A & A is bullshit compared to tax. Also, once you get the 150, I would recommend using Becker to help you study.
