I have a question: Calculus wise, my school offers A-B calc, B-C calc, and calc 3. To my knowledge, BC calc is just the AP version of AB. So if both of those count as "calc 1", do you have any idea why my school would jump straight to calculus 3?

Edited by The Cellar Door: 10/2/2016 8:07:35 PMCalculus is split into differential and integral calculus. You learn derivatives and then integrals. Traditionally, they're split into two courses and denoted as "Calc-1" and "Calc-2" respectively. Calc-3 just generalizes what you've learned in the previous two courses, but for any number of variables, rather than one.

As far as I know, AB Calc is Cal 1, and BC is Cal 2. I don't know how your school does it, but I passed the AP Calc AB test so it counted as Cal 1 in college. Meaning I was able to jump straight into Cal 2.
