But I mean halo 2 at e3 showed a mission that was never playable, Destiny told us you could walk to the mountains out there, etc. It's just become a thing that if it is said too far from release just ignore it because all Devs spit out their loftiest goals in order to generate interest in the game before they are forced to be realistic near release
