Same as above
(Were on the top of the forum posts guys thx)

Warrior and/or necromancer class would be interesting.
-
It's going to be the nerf class
-
I read in a old gameinformer that there is a new class like a scribe that tells lore of the planet or area and you can only hear them if you are near them they also don't have weapons but I could be wrong on the weapons part
-
psion class
-
they are probably wiping everything, so I would say we are getting "new everything" Until Bungie confirms or denies otherwise, I would say it's a safe bet to believe that Kotaku article. Based on his "loose lip" sources at Bungie and prior track record on articles detailing leaked info from Bungie, this guy is a solid source of information. The only time he has been "wrong" is when Bungie has changed something between the time his article is released and when a DLC goes "live"
-
I'd say an Assassin as the Hunter, Berserker as the Titan, and a Mage as a warlock
-
They already announced new classes completly start over new campaign new game for D2
-
To me Its kinda hard to make up new concepts for classes but abilities are easy. For example Titan is your tank hunters your assassins/rogue warlock your mage the typical team. Its kind hard to make new classes if those 3 core classes are already built.
Also people are suggesting Cabal,Fallen.Vex etc Vex+Hive=Mage Fallen=Assassin Cabal=Tank
-
Id love a new class or two, but mostly i'd like then to overhaul the class 'build' system. There isnt enough variety, and in my opinion the classes are too similar. They need more defined roles. Titans need to actually be tanks, etc. If I had it my way (which I know I wont), I would make each class have all the same 'core' abilities. Then the subclass would give additional specific 'minor abilities'. Then let us tweak the subclass builds a lot more, and more stats to build on.
-
I'm hoping for more of a mmo approach to it e.g. Warlocks =support Titans = tanks Hunters = dps / stealth? Then for the subclasses you have to choose which order you're in eg. Sunbreaker = firebreak order Idk how this would fit in with the lore but I want more subclasses this time
-
Biggie plot twist.... How about Colossus, Wizard and Vandal
-
There is a unconfirmed rumor I heard from I believe it was in one of Moreconsole's video about Destiny 2 and what will be in it It was that they would completely do away with the three classes, Titan, warlock, and Hunter and come out with something completely new for the classes.
-
Personally I'd like to see each class' subclass have the option to cover offence and defence. For example: Warlock's don't really have a support function like the Hunters (tether) and Titans (bubble). Their solar class has some of those capabilities, but nothing really capitalizes on it. Defender Titans, and Nightstalker Hunters, void classes, don't have an option for a devastating offensive attack. Sure they can be used as such, but they're not very effective when it comes to those bounties that require void ability kills. The same goes for the Warlock's solar class, Sunsinger, throwing a bunch of grenades doesn't scream power. At least make the grenades thrown whilst in Radiance have larger blasts. Basically I'd like to see each subclass have perks that can truly change the way the subclass feels to play. How about a perk that changes the titan bubble into omni directional blast that thows enemies back as well as doing void damage to them. But instead of one large blast like the Fist of Havok, it's three. The damage won't be as much as a result, but the throw back ability matches better with the 'Defender' title. Just one example.

Healer Class please!!! Bungie!!!

Edited by Phaaze: 10/2/2016 4:47:30 AMClass: Warrior Too much armor? Too small of a blade?energy? Solved, solved, and... Solved Basically, they take aspects from all three current classes. They wear armor like a titan, although it is much less bulky. Their main weapon of choice is a sick looking curved blade with a metal hilt roughly three to four feet long, capable of channeling all types of energy (void, arc, solar). (Changes appearance by subclass. Dark black for void, bright red for solar, intense blue for arc) Basic melee: draw their blade from their back and swing at once, then sheathing it quickly. (Same timing as other melees) Class item: sword cloak (small cloth like material that is situated on the armor above the sword's sheath, flowing down and covering a small portion of it. Blows in the wind. Subclass - void: DarkBlader
Grendades: Dynamo grenade - (like magnetic grenade), but explosion draws others into a gravity well before exploding. Additional damage to what it is stuck to, can OHK the stickied. Seeker grenade - throw a swarm of void things that seek out enemies. Beam grenade - when thrown, bounces once on first surface, then hovers a few feet above the ground while firing three void laser beams while rotating fast. Large AoE, will almost kill a guardian (damage to one guardian will be as if they were hit by an axion dart voidwalker grenade) Super: Dark blade - unsheathe your blade as you go third person. Large increase to agility, small - medium to armor. Guardian holds the blade by the hilt, edge behind him. Very fast slashes with a range of 5-7 feet. Requires at least three to kill 1 guardian (but slashes are also fast). Lasts around 10 seconds, 200% damage increase to minions of darkness by default. Super perks: Hunger - each slash refunds a small amount of super energy, range extended to ten feet. Energy slash - each slash fires an arc of void energy following the swing of the blade, dealing half the sword's damage at a range. Slows swing speed to balance the base damage plus energy slash damage per swing. Circle of Expungence - press fire button to unleash a hyper rapid maelstrom of void slashes in a five foot radius in all directions, dealing massive damage. Animation lasts two seconds, uses 1/4 to 1/6 of super energy. (No worse that bladedancer encore perk, just looks cooler) Melee (plus perks): double slash - on a charged melee hit, blade arcs around for a second hit. Second hit deals half to 3/4 damage of first. Can not OHK. Phantom - shadows enclose you as you vanish from sight, appearing behind who you hit if pressing forward, above if pressing back, or to the side respective of the direction Seething blade - slash your blade across in an arc, firing an arc of void energy forward replicating the sword's trajectory. Overpowers double melee, converts the same damage into the arcing energy. Must be manually aimed, headshots can OHK (but hard to get). Body shot kills recharge melee at reduced strength for 5 seconds (acts as fully charged melee after timer), but body shots can not OHK. Dark burn - burns the target with void energy, healing the user on hit, bonus armor for ten seconds if the flames manage to kill target (flames get kill credit). Flames proc on second strike, faster melee cooldown (5-10%) Misc central perks: Ravager - increases AoE of Seething Blade and Circle of Expungence Phantom of Phantoms - doubles phantom and blink ranges, increases cooldown for both. Blade of Hunger - decreases super cooldown, dark burn deals more DoT. Misc outer perks: Mark of a Devourer - grenade, melee, and super hits leave target more susceptible to your abilities. Offensive Player - gain an additional grenade and melee, decreases armor. Soul syphon - Circle of Expungence causes much more damage, but uses your health. Three activations will kill you. If activated it and are killed, attack animation finishes. Kills restore health, guardian kills use more health and super energy the next activation during the same super duration. Resets after super ends. Jump: blink Warlocks learned from someone Double blink - blink twice (4 times before cooldown, two blinks can occur at once. One to get in the air, the other in the air. Must cooldown if used twice, one right after the other. If this occurs, faster cooldown. Extended blink - extends the lateral movement of blink (blink up higher than normal) Summersault - spin with your blade while jumping again in the air. Can damage enemies, similar in effectiveness to extended jump for hunters.
More to come, need to think. OP? Maybe. Fun? YES!

If the same classes are going to be used, the classes should actually do what they are said to do!!! I want warlocks hunting ancient ruins for long forgotten runes and spells, and compiling into some sort of high tech, futuristic book of shadows. Hunters scouting out enemy territory and the vast ranges of alien planets by themselves in their tattered armor and war torn cloaks. Titans scourging the lands of darkness, on the forefront of the battle, keeping enemies at bay, guarding earth, the traveler, and its outposts on the other planets.

Edited by FearFactory2904: 10/2/2016 1:00:51 PMOnly one? A single new character class is the kind of thing you expect from expansions not a whole new game. For example 1996 diablo was a decent game and had 3 classes. When diablo ii launched it completely wiped the slate and started over with more and better classes, better skill systems, different gear and perks etc and it was great. Re-using legacy stuff would have been a boat anchor to any innovation they did. Destiny2 needs to be to Destiny1 what Diablo2 was to Diablo1. Im expecting something worthy of being called a new game rather than just another expansion.

I think it'd be cool if Destiny 2 we have new characters and weapons because we are in the Last City of North America (old New York or LA) and because of that we have new characters, same classes, but all new subclasses. What we learn in Destiny 2 is that, although the classes are the same, subclasses are based on discovery of internal and inate abilities discovered and taught over time. This means that not only can different abilities (subclasses) are discovered but also those discoveries have regional influence. Also, there will be different weapon foundries and factions, meaning all new weapons. Nothing is carried over from Destiny 1 since we are using all new character in an all new region with all new subclasses. New areas. New everything.
-
We need a CL4P-TP player class.
-
We need a new everything. This game is completely monotonous at this point.
-
Edited by ThyGreatestFlame: 10/2/2016 12:58:47 PMI dont think we need new clasees but it would be good to add tp our existing subclasses but not take them away. I love and main a Sunbreaker and would like to continue using it through Destiny if possible
-
New class new perks new element and bring back elemental primaries!!!! We need more
-
I think we need all new subclasses. Just wipe all the ones we have and learn from what does and doesnt work with these ones
-
We need all new classes ..subclasses.. dedicated servers .. in depth storyline . Relevant content .. we need it all
-
Should I,delete my warlock? I don't really enjoy using it and I never really have. This would also open the path to have 2 raids per week for the Titan. This is a tough choice. I need some help.
-
You think they would have Destiny 2 without new classes? You must be out of your damn mind. They will.
