Same as above

Nah I'm fine with this classes, I just want new subclasses!
-
The most that needs to be done with the classes in this game is to make them more of an individual type instead of the bit of everything they are at the moment.
-
Loremaster.
-
I want classes that actually match their lore. I thought Hunters were supposed to be scouts exploring the wildnerness wearing tattered armor... Then again I thought Destiny would have more than giant loops for their patrol.
-
So this my idea for the new class not sure of a name let it be guardians who weren't blessed with the travelers light and depend on man made technology to go on par with other guardians of light and their background story is they were citizens who had lost loved ones because of the high dependency on the guardians and wanted to protect what theirs themselves. Any ideas of what to call them?
-
You will,.. Is called: PC CLASS
-
We could have a subclass based of of like a corrupted guardian that no longer uses light or they use whatever the stranger uses since shes not a guardian and doesn't have a ghost what king of ability would she have
-
I like the classes and subclasses. They all fit really well. But I would like to see more of an emphasis on the differences between them. Titans should tank a little better, hunters should avoid a little better, and warlocks should magic a little better. I also think it would be cool if they had more elemental subclasses. We already have fire, lightning, and dark. How about water, earth, and air? Yeah I know this isn't avatar, but still. Think it'd be cool.
-
That would kinda ruin the whole rule of 3s that Destiny has going on: 3 races 3 subclasses 3 elements But we have 4 enemy races tho... So i think that if they do end up adding a new class they would need to make one more element and a new subclass for each of the existing classes and four more for the new class. But i think Bungie/Activision can pull that off since they got 2 more studios working on Destiny's sequel, which accounts for 750 people working on the title. Not only that but they are also not limited by last gen hardware anymore (which REALLY held Destiny 1 back, i read once that the Cosmodrome was meant to be about 10x larger)

Skill trees like WoW would be amazing

Edited by TheMediocreThor: 10/2/2016 8:47:14 PMI'd love to have something like a Light Unbound class We already know psions are prisoners of the cabal. Let us have a psion class. Give us a vandal who was scorned and lost most of his ether. They could be a defector like Variks. Maybe an Acolyte that has lost their way after the death of Oryx and doesn't worship the sword logic anymore. Or even a Vex that understands what Atheon was trying to accomplish and wants to stay away from the zealots that the Vex have. EDIT: Glad you guys like an idea that I came up with while I was wine drunk last night. But yeah, I think it's possible Bungie could let us create more than 3 characters a la Warcraft. The biggest slog fest of all this would be trying to run through everything each week with each different class. But then again, Destiny 2 could be a completely type of game. One that can find a way to bypass the need to grind every character each week.

Fallen class lead by Variks
-
We need new everything. We need ALL new subclasses, new parts of the planets to explore, and even new planets to explore. I wanna be able to walk out the tower and go straight into the cosmodrome
-
I could care less about the races as there are no racial buffs. They are one in the same. I would add racial attributes, human earn more from killing minions of the dark or something like that. Awoken get a buff in void calsses, and exos have more base strength. To make it it worth while to choose one over the other. As far as classes go I'd like to see our sub classes added to to make either viable for for damage or defence. A void dps class for defender would be amazing imo. Give warlocks a buff sub class, or heals. Give hunters an ability to increase our crit damage or add to our accuracy. Lots of things they could do. I would also hope they add more synergy in our skill trees. It would be hard to rework all our current classes so I'd imagine new classes are the answer. If they do it right and tie it into the story in an easy to digest way, I for one won't be mad. These classes we have have grown stale.

I really like the idea of a fallen race and new fallen class. You could be a sweet variks looking mofo.
-
I would like to play as a Fallen. Preferably not a Dreg though.
-
3 new subclasses free world and a good fast travel system then release the old three in DLCs. Done.
-
Not me
-
Maybe a healer
-
New subclasses at the very least
-
I think it would be nice to keep the big three, but run skill trees. That way each player could essentially build their character the way they wanted. Whether it's a titan built to do more dps, with aoe skills, or a hunter with cloaking ability that can also sneak and dodge. I think it would really open up the game to make it unique for each player.
-
I do not think that I will play destiny 2 after Bungie patch or nerf many things.
-
Nah we already have the three basic classes can you name another one that would fit and also how the hell would that work into the lore. Oh boy we forgot to mention a 4th class over the last three years
-
New race and class: Eliksni. I'd want the character to start as a Dreg, answers to Variks and was discovered by a Ghost that takes the form of a tiny Servitor that feeds him Ether. As you level up and are rewarded for your good deeds to the Traveler, you are feed more Ether, turning you into a Vandal, then a Captain. I think at that point you should be able to split progress into focus: Go Baron/Baroness with agility, stealth or become a tanky Archon with a ridiculous melee smash and a larger hit box. On Reddit, there is are great Eliksni class builds that the community helped tune.

No. Hunter, Titan, Warlock already represent the classic Rouge, Warrior, and Mage. Most so called "Advanced" MMO classes are just variations of the Big Three (Bards are Rouges who took music lessons. Paladins are Warriors who were really into Sunday School. Druids are Mages who hug trees during lunch break.
