Was that the mission I was goofing around and thought crouching behind the table with comedic commentary would be fun and ended up cheesing it because none of the enemies aggroed? If so, you could try that.

Yes but the timer stops so you have to wait until all the waves are dead then wait out the timer. Still easier than running like a madman.

I don't remember the timer ever stopping. All of the enemies despawned once the Ghost finished lasering Gjallarhorn.

There is a defend timer for the ghost like the Warsat timer. If you go outside the circle the timer stops and will actually go backwards until you get back in the circle. I didn't realize if you get way back behind the table the timer stops. The enemies keep coming and you can wipe them all out before the ghost stops scanning. Once you come out of the room it will start timing.

I suppose it glitched for me then. That progress circle/bar never stopped for me. I was right next to the table and thought I was in plain sight for the NPCs to be aggroed, but they never were. It made the commentary that much better.
