That's true about a lot of things unfortunately. I used to see peole run VF without touch of flame all the time. They see all the posts and streamers complaining about VF but they have no idea what it does, only that it's good, so they use it without realizing it doesn't do much with out touch of flame. Same thing with a lot of guns. There's no reason why the 1YS should have been as popular as it was. I don't believe destiny has a meta. The "meta" is just what people complain about the most because once you complain about something then all the uneducated noobs start using it and it becomes super popular.
