Although I'd rather start from square 1 instead of transfering all of my stuff.
However, I think you should be allowed to bring 1 legendary armor piece [u]of each type[/u] from Destiny 1, as well as 1 legendary weapon [u]of each type[/u]. You should also be allowed to bring one exotic weapon, [u]period[/u], and one exotic armor, [u]period.[/u] [spoiler]I'd bring The Ram for sure! XD[/spoiler]

Yeah his artwork is awesome and his brief background story for the Outcast is brilliant! I have to disagree about starting from scratch again but each to their own I guess! If they did go ahead with a fresh start they would NEED to make it worth our while and compensate all the players that have been here from the beginning!
