It's a total flop. They promised factions n diversity with a good story n amazing exploration. Also multiplayer, space battles and alien lore. None is delivered.

I can't find anywhere when he said multiplayer. In fact the only comments about it are him saying seeing someone else will be incredibly rare. Multiplayer was never promised, ever.

Sean Murray also said That the only way to know what you look like is to have a friend look at you and take a screenshot. That means that you could play with others and interact with them.

It never really interested me as I could see it was never going to live up to the hype. I just think if an investigation finds they did mislead their customers, what will happen? Partial refunds or fines would set an interesting precedent and make game developers more cautious in how they market games.

What they can do, however, is basically shut down a company's advertising in its current form - and that's a lot of lost money for HG.
