I got it yesterday, its on my Warlock. Its decent not op but I think there are better weapons to use in Crucible. So don't worry about it being abused its balanced but I think it feels a tad weak. Overnerfed in my opinion. The quest line was a joke compared to Year 1. Year 1's Thorn Quest was WAY more intense and difficult.

I thought the quest line was nearly identical to year 1? That's how it looked anyway.
