I'm doing my job. Now Bungie, you do yours.
I am reporting every single red bar I see in the Crucible. Yes, those on my team, too.
Now do your job, Bungie: start banning people who are repeatedly reported for bad connections. I say "repeatedly" because frankly, [i]everybody[/i] red-bars from time to time in this game. But, there are a lot of players who red-bar way too frequently to be allowed to continue to play.
Trials is coming. Iron Banner is coming. Clean it up, Bungie.

Edit: I am not suggesting anything like a permanent ban. Something on the order of a couple of days, allowing the player to sort-out their connection issues. If, however, upon their return, they continue to receive regular bad connection reports, the bans should get longer and longer.

You can have stable internet with 100mbps download and 50mbps upload but if you're in the UK and the host of the match is in Australia, those numbers mean bugger all. For all you ignorant morons, watch this video and get it through your retarded heads https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aowuBUIX4Wk For things like videogame, you're internet upload/download speed is nowhere near as important as your ping, and a faster download/upload wont make much, if any, difference to your ping. What causes lag in Destiny is 9 times out of 10, ping. This is because the game doesn't use dedicated servers and matchmakes based on skill over connection, ultimate meaning that if you're connected to a host who's on the other side of the world you're going to lag FAR more even with the fastest internet speeds in the world that compared to a game where the host is next door.
