I'm doing my job. Now Bungie, you do yours.

I am reporting every single red bar I see in the Crucible. Yes, those on my team, too. Now do your job, Bungie: start banning people who are repeatedly reported for bad connections. I say "repeatedly" because frankly, everybody red-bars from time to time in this game. But, there are a lot of players who red-bar way too frequently to be allowed to continue to play. Trials is coming. Iron Banner is coming. Clean it up, Bungie. Edit: We are no longer playing in a game world where you can assume that just because you have internet, you can play any online game you like. Edit: I am not suggesting anything like a permanent ban. Something on the order of a couple of days, allowing the player to sort-out their connection issues. If, however, upon their return, they continue to receive regular bad connection reports, the bans should get longer and longer.

 • You have no idea about network gaming do you? I know a lot about networks as a professional and red bar is not just down to an individual. ISP, area usage, sub par equipment, buggy software/hardware, weather (hot/cold), real world maintenance etc. can impact your connection. Most of these things are beyond ur control as an end user. I am on a fiber broadband in UK and that's the best availavle im my region. Trust me, I would upgrade to anything faster if it was available. Yet I do red bar in raids or pvp and sometimes strikea because most of my friends are in US (100ms latency average from UK) so should I be banned? Bungie had other issues in matchmaking. Red bar banning is retarded solution. Yes it's possible to detect malicious network manipulation but would you pay an extra 50 per DLC to cover the cost? I don't think so...
