Kind of a necessity so I don't spend 20 minutes running around the system checking every vendor. Knowing what shaders are being sold (want that stolen chalice yo), what the arms day rolls are and what's selling, what speaker cloaks are up, and xur's inventory when he's around are all great to have at a moments glance.

All four new shaders have been sold already. Nice to see someone has their priorities straight when it comes to shaders though. The true purpose of destiny, emblems to though.

Let's get this straight: It's NOT a necessity, it's a CONVENIENCE. Take 20 minutes out of your day, or else you risk missing something that will undoubtedly be sold again eventually. In a video game. Yeah, not a necessity. I can tell because I've never used it and I still play the game. Thus, not necessary.

Know what I value? The ability to play a console game ON A CONSOLE without having to consult a separate computer/phone/tablet/whatever to tell me how to play it.
