Edited by 2Enviouz: 9/26/2016 3:17:06 PMThe gameplay leading up to the raid, in my mind is very flawed. Bungie punished players who didn't save engrams and such for the past month prior to ROI. Those who didn't grind before the release got punished. Extremely. I thought about 3oC grinding before ROI but I thought to myself, -blam!- it, the gear should be obsolete after the 20th. Boy was I wrong. People saved over 100 exotic engrams and leveled up easily within the first 2 days of the DLC. Without preparing ahead of time (which you shouldn't have to) you have to level up very, and I mean very slowly. In 2 days, Without grinding 2 blues over 100 times (omnigul strike for those who don't know that nickname) and decrypting only 6 exotics all which decoded below 340 I've only advanced to light level 351. Such a slow light level progress if you didn't prepare. Bungie should've never allowed guardians to max their light level before the raid. The taken king raid was beaten in over 8 hours (or atleast how long it took dattos team to finish) this raid only lasted about 2 hours since you can literally tank bullets and deal major DPS. I congratulate whoever got worlds first. But leading up to the raid was very flawed. I'm not trying to take away any credit but being able to make your self essentially "OP" before the raid even released is kinda whack. Sorry Bungie I don't want to grind the same omnigul strike over and over again... Don't even get me started on Archons Fail Edit 1: Really didn't expect this many replies. Didn't think a rant would cause an uproar. Different players have different experiences in Destiny. I wrote this from my perspective and how I felt about the events leading up to Rise of Iron. Also, many people in the reply section really need to figure out how to use the term "salty" correctly. Just thought I'd had to point that out
