Patch Notes Update

Patch Notes for [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/45265/7_Destiny-Rise-of-Iron ]Destiny: Rise of Iron[/url] have been updated with accurate info about which Strike Playlists grant Skeleton Keys. https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/45265/7_Destiny-Rise-of-Iron - Strike-specific Skeleton Keys now drop in the Nightfall Strike, the SIVA Crisis Heroic, and SIVA Crisis Playlists (Updated 9/22/16) - Skeleton Keys allow you to open Strike Hoards to guarantee a Strike-unique reward - Skeleton Keys have higher drop rates in the Nightfall Strike and SIVA Crisis Heroic Playlists (Updated 9/22/16) [quote]Update 2.4.0 was deployed on 09/08/2016. The change in question affects Shoulder Charge and its related exotic armor MK 44 Stand Asides: - Time to charge Shoulder Charge has been slightly increased. (+1 second) - Shoulder Charge attack speed and target tracking has been slightly reduced - The activation window for Shoulder Charge when using MK44 Stand Asides has been reduced (-4 seconds) I spoke with the Sandbox team and they informed me that the combination of Shoulder Charge with the new Memory of Jolder Artifact in Rise of Iron was an excessively deadly combination that needed a little tuning. They also had this to say regarding “stealth nerfs”: [i]“Sandbox will never intentionally make “stealth nerfs”, the community would find them immediately regardless, so that would be silly. In this case, that specific change list didn’t have the #patchnotes tag we use to track balance changes during development. It was a mistake, and in the chaos that precedes release to the world it was missed in review. Apologies.”[/i] We will get the Patch Notes updated on Monday. We also forgot to give you some good news about Banshee 44 selling Armor Materials.     If you are actually going to balance crucible at some point thatd be nice. Wombos one hit with no chance of escape, storm callers can hit you with a melee while your receiving damage fall off on TLW (not to mention the over abundance of aim assist on warlock melee in general). A fleet footed blade dancer using blink can't outrun a storm caller in super or a skating titan. Blade is super buggy and inconsistent. Titan slams and Nova bombs kill you while outside the radius (not sure if that's intentional) but what's the point in escaping the radius before it hits if you just die anyway? Stickies have too much aim assist. El mapador consistently outguns every other shotty in the game besides last ditch which is practically the same gun. GHOST BULLETS while within optimal hand cannon range. Side arms being overall underwhelming (mainly cause they don't hit anything outside of 15 feet). Jug shield in general (cause let's give the fastest class a shield so they can run straight at you with a shotgun while not taking damage, on top of the fact that they have the highest armor stat and usually take an extra bullet anyways) yeah that makes sense. Front stab is still an issue. If a hammer Titan is using surcharge it is legitimately impossible for a blade to outplay him while they are both in supers. Double skip grenades 🙁 really? Quickdraw for every warlock because hunters aren't unique (not to mention why the hell does blade have quickdraw, shouldn't gunslinger have it?). I love this game it is by far my favourite and I love the idea of it moving toward comp and mlg but some serious changes need to be made if the game will ever be balanced. P.S. balancing one thing at a time every few months leaves the game lopsided and even more unbalanced (hint hint sniper nerf and the current meta of matador). I already know this is leading to a shotgun nerf but in the meantime the state of the game is -blam!-ed. Sincerely a die hard fan @cozmo
