Edit: This post now has over 2000 upvotes and almost 2000 comments. Although based on past history, it's not likely to get a response, I'd like to address a bungie representative with the following.
Given the incredible amount of support for this idea, why not implement it? I would assume that you would like to prevent players from leveling up too quickly. If not, please respond with the other reason.
If you are doing this to prevent quick leveling, then why:
-Do heroic strikes allow for much quicker leveling despite archons forge being a newer, much more hyped up part of the game?
-Why can you simply farm omnigul to level up much faster and with much less difficulty and with the same strike we've been playing for more than a year, rather than allowing the new activity of archons forge to be used effectively?
-Why was it ok for court of oryx to have many runes on one character but not for archons forge?
-Why can't you at least compromise by allowing one of each level offering to be used at a time, or possibly 5 fused, 3 enhanced, and one perfected at a time like user Sienna Contiello suggested?
A response, while not necessarily expected, would be appreciated. A change would be even more so.

What I don't get is who thought it was a good idea to set the event cancel timer to cancel the event sooner than its even possible to re-enter the arena. If you're solo and die, even if you respawn outside and run to enter a key right away, the event cancels right after the splicer key is used up. This has happened multiple times and frankly I'm not even going to bother with it anymore because of that. Court of Oryx was always doable solo, and even if you lost on tier 3 you got the rune back. It's a major step backwards from what was once a fun patrol event

I would prefer to just get a higher chance at gear. All I get are class items. I want gear or more preferably one of the guns.

i think carrying one of each type (green, blue, purple) wpuld be thjer best options

I was thinking how to fix this easily since there is only one console in the forge to present an offering. Simply have a menu that pops up just like the vendors that let's you select which offering you would like to use. Also, this would allow us to stack them in our inventory so we don't go there with a couple hoping for some to drop, then none do. Court of oryx was great because you could save a bunch up then spend an hour running them over and over. Forge loses momentum as soon as they stop dropping.

in my opinion a simple fix would be to allow players to carry one offering of each tier. so one fused one enhanced, and one perfected.
