Transversive steps are trash. Crouch speed buff is a joke.
On top of the fact that Titan-skate is the latest cancer, BOTH of the more mobile classes were given sprint buff on their exotic boots. The crouch speed buff is still slower/equivalent to regular walking speed. Passive reload is not worth the exotic slot. Bungie, quit playing favorites if you want to keep using the word "Balance".
EDIT: Big Ups to Justic3Joe for his link to MTashed's review in which he makes all the same points about the boots everyone else has, myself included. He even nods to you guys who make a case for the Auto Reload in PvE. Please watch it, so you'll listen to someone, finally.

3 RepliesGive Transversive Steps shoot to loot as an intrinsic perk, and I think they might actually be a little useful. They could possibly do something like have them increase sprint speed as well since Warlocks currently have nothing to make them even slightly more mobile.

2 RepliesI'm not inclined to listen to either you or Mtashed because you both have your opinion on the gear, and that's fine but I disagree as do others. *Shrug* No the one you SHOULD be addressing is the Astrocyte Verse and how it's bull that it's bonus got changed from what it used to be in the armory.

It's actually pretty decent for pvp, headglitching is pretty effective

4 RepliesIt lets you carry 7 ghorn rounds so that's pretty cool. And during the raid boss, when you are empty on heavy, run up to a brick of it, and can pick it up and shoot right away is clutch

The reload is amazing, but I notice absolutely no difference in crouched movement with the boots on or off. The movement buff is completely broken right now.

Honestly, it's more of a PvE thing than a PvP thing. That auto reload can be VERY helpful during tight spots. The crouch varies on how you use it.

5 RepliesBump! They need to remove the phrase "while crouched" from the exotic perk and maybe even throw in increased speed while ads as well for them to be useful. Also Warlocks have been waiting for 2 years to get one pair of exotic boots, and this is what we get... trash.

I like them a lot. Thought I wouldn't. Pick up special ammo crate with a slow loading shot gun? Boom, full ammo. Blast other team trying for it. PVE is where it really shines. Doin the gally quest during some of the swarm encounters I never reloaded a weapon. Great for heavy! But not every piece is for every play style. So ya know, find what works for you. Let others keep what works for them. Crazy concept eh?

The reload perk is neat but yes the crouch speed buff is a joke. But Titans need the dune marchers LMAO! Buff these boots!

They're not to everybody's taste. Doesn't make them bad. If you prefer a different exotic, stick with it.

The boots are actually freaking amazing in the raid. During the siege engine second phase crouching with the parts is faster than walking with them.
