So I had a bunch of engrams in vault when I reached the peak, such that I spent about an hour decrypting. What I noticed is that the cryptarch in the peak does NOT give you rank up packages. Instead, it seems as though the engram you decrypt that crosses the rank threshold "crits" - so a blue into a purple etc. I accepted this as the new thing, and ranked up several times. However, I later went to the tower and found - hey! - a cryptarch rank up package! But only ONE of them, even though I ranked up at least 5-6 times. So...unless I'm crazy (always possible), beware ranking up in the peak! I'd suggest every time you rank up there, go to the tower immediately after and see if you have a package. I suspect my other ones were overwritten by each successive rank up! Just my experience..happen to anyone else? On the other hand, every engram I decrypted in the peak was light appropriate, even though all of them were pre-RoI.
