DONALD TRUMP JR. SHARES WHITE SUPREMACIST MEME

Apparently, Don Jr. is happy to be in the company of Pepe the Frog.
Just two months after the Trump campaign got into trouble for tweeting an image that was widely seen as anti-Semitic, a member of the Republican nominee’s family is at it again. On Sunday, Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of Donald Trump, proudly promoted the above Instagram post, which includes a meme frequently shared by white supremacists. “Apparently I made the cut as one of the Deplorables,” he wrote, referring to a series of controversial comments Hillary Clinton recently made about Trump’s supporters. “All kidding aside I am honored to be grouped with the hard working men and women of this great nation that have supported@realdonaldtrump [sic] and know that he can fix the mess created by politicians in Washington.”
I can't even literally believe this. I'm shaking. http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/09/donald-trump-jr-pepe--godwinslaw!--instagram http://www.esquire.com/news-politics/news/a48514/trump-surrogates-white-supremacist-meme/

 • For those who don't understand the premise behind this thread, i.e. our rare friend the Pepe supposedly being a symbol of white supremacy, this is a perfect example showcasing what a lot of #OffTopic users so desperately need to learn about trolling. Instigating people, angering them, inciting a response, etc, is not trolling. "God is not real XD 😂😂😂" is not trolling. Just being an asshole to people is not trolling. You are not trolls, you're just insecure teens being assholes because of your anonymity. Making people believe a cartoon frog is a symbol of white supremacy by playing on their lack of familiarity with the Internet is trolling. Not only is it comical, but it also forces uninformed people to question it as if there might actually be a chance that this cartoon frog is a symbol of white supremacy. Creating a plausibility in this being true when it's obviously not makes this a good troll. How do you know when your troll is successful? When you have people writing with belief in your pseudo-truth.
